We know that inviting workers into your home can be daunting. But when you choose Boston Garage for epoxy flooring installation, you can be sure that your home and belongings will be treated with respect. Our workers are experts at epoxy flooring installation; after all, we've installed millions of feet of epoxy flooring in the New England area. We're committed to making the process go as smoothly and quickly as possible, and we'll answer your questions at every step.

Epoxy Flooring Benefits

There are a lot of garage flooring options available today. If you've picked epoxy, you're in good company. Epoxy flooring is a popular choice because it's easy to maintain and looks great.

Epoxy flooring is often used in machine shops, airplane hangars and other high-traffic areas because of its supreme durability. Epoxy flooring is also resistant to water and staining, so it's not easily damaged by spills and drips the way some flooring surfaces are.

Another perk of epoxy flooring installation is that it comes in a variety of colors and textures, allowing you to customize the look of your garage. That's important if you want to host gatherings in your garage, or if it's the primary way guests enter your home.

Epoxy Flooring Installation Process

Too often, having work done on your home turns out to be inconvenient and stressful. That's why we're dedicated to making our installation process smooth and efficient, and we communicate what we're doing each step of the way.

Installing epoxy flooring typically takes us no more than two to three days. Our expert installers get in and out as quickly as possible to minimize the disruption to you. Here's how the process typically works.

Installation, Step by Step

The first step is a free, on-site design consultation. Our experts will look at your space, talk about options and help you determine what you're looking for. Next, our staff will use our proprietary design software, called ORGdesign, to work up a comprehensive design of your garage. You'll be involved in the process, and if you don't approve the design, we'll keep working on it until you're satisfied.

Once you've agreed on the design, ORGdesign will create a customized step-by-step plan for our installers to follow. We'll consult with you to schedule a time that works for you and your family, and we'll stick to the schedule and show up on time. It's your responsibility to clean out the garage, although we can also arrange to have that done for you at an additional cost.

Once your garage is clear, we prepare the concrete to take the epoxy coating using a commercial grinder and diamond tooling. This step allows us to get a smooth, even and well-adhered epoxy finish on the floor. We can also fill cracks, grooves and other imperfections in your concrete before pouring the coating.

Finally, the floor is ready for our epoxy flooring installation pros to apply the coating. After that's done, you can return to your garage within a day or two.

When it's applied by our installation pros at Boston Garage, your epoxy flooring should look like new for years. Our experts work with you to create a customized plan, and our installers will treat your home with care and respect. We don't cut corners, and that's how we've earned our reputation as a leader in the garage flooring industry.
